I have always had an interest in all forms of photography and used to run my own darkroom in Islington with a group of photographers where we experimented with alternative processes and building table top stage sets to depict scenes. The Last Suitcase of Walter Benjamin. Walter Benjamin had to flee from occupied France and made his way south to eventually escape to Spain across the Pyrenees. He took a suitcase with him. There is speculation as to what he carried in this suitcase.
